The Master Plan specifies public works. Public works comprise infrastructure (roads, railways and utilities), including zones for technical structures (water reservoirs and retention tanks), flood protection structures, fire stations, zones for certain types of non-commercial civic amenities (social and health care facilities, schools) and newly proposed park zones. Park space that has been newly proposed since Act No. 183/2006 Coll. (Construction Act) went into effect is no longer defined as a public work. The definition of public works forms the basis for any compulsory purchase of land or premises under Act No. 184/2006 Coll. from 14 March 2006, on the expropriation or limitation of title to land or buildings/structures (Expropriation Act).
